Who we are
RoomRateIQ is operated from Blissful Haven, Edayanchavadi, Auroville, Tamil Nadu, India. This policy covers the public checker, owner tools and this demo instance.
What we collect
Search. Destination, date and guest count stay in the page URL and your browser. We do not ask for a name to compare stays.
Compare list and selected listing. Stored in your browser (localStorage) only if you allow functional cookies. It does not go to other users. See Cookie policy.
Cookie consent. We store your Accept / Essential / Customize choice as roomrateiq-consent so the banner does not return on every page. No advertising cookies. OTAs set their own after a click-out.
Price alerts. If you submit an alert we store email and WhatsApp number, property name and target price. WhatsApp and Email buttons open a message to the hotel with your details so they actually receive it. We do not run a bulk mailer.
Affiliate clicks. Property name, city, partner and a modeled commission. No name or email on the click row.
Owner listings. Rates and notes you type into the calendar. In this demo those rows are not locked to a login.
Public APIs
Weather (Open-Meteo) and USD/INR (Frankfurter) are fetched to build demand. Those providers see a server request, not your identity.
OTA click-out
When you tap Booking, Agoda, Expedia, Airbnb or a hotel site you leave RoomRateIQ. Their privacy policy applies. If an affiliate ID is set, the partner can attribute the visit to us.
We do not
Sell personal data. Run a hidden cross-site advertising profile. Store OTA passwords. Put API secrets in the public database.
Retention and deletion
Browser storage you can clear yourself. Price-alert rows live until the database is reset or you ask us to remove them. On a self-hosted copy, the operator of that server is the controller.
Children
RoomRateIQ is not directed at children under 16.
